This is so great: What font says ‘Change’? Two type designers examine the typography and logos of the top U.S. presidential candidates to determine who should/will win the nominations. Check out this video interview with Michael Bierut talking about typography (of course) with The Atlantic. I’m not a big Bierut fan, but it’s worth a listen/watch, especially the part about the cover design of The Catcher in the Rye. (via swissmiss)

The Core77 Design Blog recently hosted a design contest for eReaders. This eScroll was chosen as the winner. Unfortunately, this is just a theoretical design, as in no production plans. Pretty neat, though, eh? You can see all the submissions here.
