Page Turner: “Angela Grauerholz’s work is unanimously textual, whatever her medium of the moment – photography, installation, assemblage, design.” (via Rare Book News)

Gorgeous Greetings: Why DeLuce Design’s Cards are the A-list Choice:

Each card is printed by Jill on her antique Vandercook letterpress onto the highest quality 110lb, cotton card stock to enhance the tactile quality of the letterpress printing method. All pieces are then hand assembled by Jill herself for that extra personal touch. Many designs wrap from front to back and feature antique botanical patterns, cameo motifs and creative color combinations.

Do check out their website, too: DeLuce Design.

The Walters Art Museum in Baltimore has consistently cool text-related exhibits. Right now they have an exhibit on illustrated legal manuscripts from the 12th-15th centuries, and starting in April they’ll have an exhibit of Stanley Sherman’s contemporary bookbindings.
_______

The Wall Street Journal has a neat article this week: Keeping Track of Miniature Books is No Small Feat.
_______

A pattern of creativity: “San Pedro artist re-examines her childhood to produce a book that catches the Getty Center’s attention.”
_______

Ever heard of the missing library of Iona.
_______

I’m not big on altered books, but Lisa Kokin’s art is pretty cool. Check out her portfolio.
