The habit of reading is the only enjoyment in which there is no alloy; it lasts when all other pleasures fade. ~ Anthony Trollope
fade theory is a blog about books, inside and out: print culture, textual history, book arts, publishing news, reading and literacy, typography, and text-related design.
The theorist is rachel j. k. grace: a freelance writer, editor, book critic, webmaster, book marketer, and photography enthusaist. Originally from Upstate New York, I hold a BA in Jewish Studies (from the University of Virginia) and an MA in History (from Florida State University, where I also completed a program in Publishing and Editing). I now live in Tallinn, Estonia (in Europe) with my husband and cat.
You can email me at theorist(at)fadetheory(dot)com with comments, ideas, and suggestions.
My husband and I are also blogging about our journey into parenthood at Littler Inch. I had another, rather short-lived blog: illumineerima, about Estonian culture and society. You can also visit the archive of my thesis blog: I’m Too Sexy for My Master’s Thesis.
