refers us to this great post: Before the blog – zines from the 80s…. There’s some speculation that blogs have replaced zines, but I disagree. Every city has a sub/counter-culture with its stable of zines. A lot of these kids practically live at their favorite hangout (in Tallahassee one of the places was All Saints and in Tallinn its Von Krahli), so that’s where those zines are distributed. I might spend most of my time online, but not everyone does. Yet.
