Heard of reverse graffiti? Basically you find a really dirty public space and you clean it artfully — the strategic removal of dirt to create images. You’ve probably done it if you’ve ever written “Clean Me” on a dirty car.

A wondeful idea – thanks for posting this info and the link!
oops, that should have been “wonderful” – sorry :(
Glad you liked it! I can’t help but post about stuff like this. I have a thing for graffiti, in particular, so I’m particularly pleased when I come across people taking already-done concepts and giving them a new twist.
Writers have been doing this reverse-graffiti for years. We call it dust-bombing, and if a cop wants to act… well… like a cop, you can actually get arrested for it as with regular graffiti. On white walls the oils in your fingers provide for long lasting tags. I have even seen people actually painting over such dust-bombs many times.
Nice inclusion of the concept!
Thats a cool idea, unfortunately plenty of areas to clean up.
